Year-round program with additional activities on weekends and the summer

Civil Air Patrol (CAP) is a volunteer, non-profit youth development program that incorporates aviation and military customs and courtesies.  Cadets wear woodland Air Force ABU's and class A Dress Blues uniform.

Through their experiences as CAP cadets, young people develop into responsible citizens and become tomorrow's aerospace leaders. The leadership skills, self-confidence, and discipline cadet’s gain through CAP prepares them to achieve whatever goals they set for themselves in life.

To fulfill its goal of developing young people into responsible citizens and aerospace leaders, the Cadet Program is developed around five program elements:

  • S.T.E.M
  • Cyber Patriot
  • Emergency Services
  • Search & Rescue
  • Land & Air Navigation

We also provide cadets with the opportunity to complete training with Hot Air Balloons, Drone, Glider and Single engine powered flight. This gives Cadets the opportunity to revive Certificates and a Pilot Licenses at the age of 16 for each Aircraft.

This is Free to all CAP Cadets.

Cadets age 16+ also participate in Natural Disaster Relief and in National emergencies such as the ongoing Covid Missions.
